To develop a smart visibility solution that reinforces STËLZ’s presence on terraces while offering true value to outlet owners. The aim was to design a functional item that outlet owners need — turning it into both a branding opportunity and a functional asset. This approach not only boosts brand visibility at key consumption moments but also adds a versatile POS item to STËLZ’s growing toolkit, enabling the brand to respond to diverse outlet demands.

Client Challenge

STËLZ is a fast-growing hard drinks brand, primarily consumed at high-energy moments such as festivals and nightlife events. With ambitions to extend its presence into daytime occasions, STËLZ needed a creative solution to claim its spot on the terrace — a new channel for brand engagement.

Our Solution

Faced with this challenge, our team explored various product concepts that balanced functionality with on-brand design. The result? The STËLZ Menu Card Holder — a smart and stylish on-table item tailored for the hospitality industry. By weaving the STËLZ Hard Iced Tea branding directly into the design, we created a piece that seamlessly blends utility with on-brand visibility.

Result / Impact

Within just 8 weeks of launch, STËLZ distributed over 5,000 menu card holders across terraces in the Netherlands. Following the success of the initial rollout, the brand has already placed a second order to gear up for the upcoming terrace season — proving both the concept's effectiveness and its strong market reception.
